Reaching Out to Sister Entrepreneurs

We’re on a mission to create a world in which empowered women elevate communities and eliminate poverty. So far, the financial support and mentoring that we’ve been able to provide to more than 4,000 women has made a profound impact in their communities. And we’re just getting started.

However, we need your help, to support more than 720 women entrepreneurs looking to transform their communities using the power of a microloan, business coaching and community!

Meet the Guest Entrepreneurs.

Stephanie A. Meyer is a Minneapolis-based author, recipe developer, cooking instructor, and health coach. She has written three cookbooks and is the owner of Project Vibrancy Meal Plans and Coaching.

Meyer began writing about food and cooking in 2006 when she created her blog, Fresh Tart. What began as an exploration of healthy indulgence, balance, and moderation, shifted into a blog sharing gluten-free and allergen-friendly recipes in 2010 when she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Meyer began conversations with several Twin Cities chefs about healthy cooking, which became a column for Minnesota Monthly Magazine called Cook Like, and eventually expanded into a cookbook called "Twin Cities Chef’s Table", published in 2014.

In 2017, Meyer launched Project Vibrancy Meals, a monthly meal-planning membership with a focus on teaching members to batch cook healthy meals in their homes. Many of the members have food allergies or autoimmune disease, but most just feel better following a nutrient-dense, gluten-free diet. Project Vibrancy Meals are focused on big flavors and cooking with whole, fresh ingredients and have helped hundreds of people learn to consistently cook healthy meals for themselves and their families. In 2018, Meyer added online coaching services, both individually and in groups. She teaches monthly Cook Along with Stephanie batch cooking classes on Zoom.

Meyer published both The 30-Minute Paleo Cookbook and The Kickass Condiments E-book in 2020. She is currently working on launching a podcast called The Discomfort Code, an exploration of how embracing and learning from discomfort in all of its forms is the path to creating a vibrant life..

Nicole Sveen

Stylist, House of Colour

My name is Nicole Sveen and I am a mom of two grown daughters and married to my high school sweetheart. I have always had a love of style and good design along with a desire to elevate something to it's maximum potential. When I was growing up, I would regularly rearrange my bedroom to make it better or freshen it up. When we finished paying for college for our girls, I decided it was time to put my creative energy into something that will bring joy to others, so I joined House of Colour and became a stylist!

At House of Colour, we believe that everyone is beautiful, and it is our mission to provide our clients with the tools and knowledge to feel confident as their authentic selves.

For a Color Analysis, we use a time-tested color analysis process to discover your precise color palette. Our precision dyed drapes help us understand what colors harmonize with your undertones and compliment your natural coloring. During the analysis, we will also match mineral powder and blush to your personal coloring, and then help you find YOUR perfect lipsticks! This very personalized makeup service is part of what we call the 90 Second Makeup miracle. We teach you the importance of finding the right makeup to compliment your season. You will leave your consultation with a palette of colors personalized to you along with the knowledge to simplify your shopping and maximize your budget! Once you know your colors, come see us for a Personal Style Analysis where we consider your body architecture, personality, and lifestyle while helping you discover how to dress for your shape and stay authentic to who you are!

Other services offered include Wardrobe Consultations, Personal Shopping, and Closet Clean-outs.

Based in the Twin Cities for the past 8 years, Carolyne Naomi has been
performing her unique blend of afrobeats music, with influences from soul
and R&B, reggae, and gospel. Carolyne’s take on this modern afro-fusion
reflects today's multicultural world and the everyday challenges as well as
the potential that it holds.

September 30th, 2022 saw the release of the video for the featured single
“Runaway” https://youtu.be/skFmPqAFbzs. With over 11,000 views, the
visuals reflect the Minnesota landscape while discussing the universal theme
of love and longing.

After completing a Masters Degree in Media and Communication in Nigeria,
Carolyne chose to relocate to Minnesota to pursue additional education in
guitar and voice performance at McNally Smith College of Music. Despite the
untimely closure of that institution, Carolyne has continued to compose and
perform music that reflects her experience as a first-generation immigrant.
With a story to tell that resonates with the current generation, she weaves
her life experience into her songs as she reflects her surroundings with both
her struggles and success.

Carolyne has performed extensively throughout communities in Minnesota
including the Cedar Cultural Center, Wild Nights at the Zoo (Apple Valley),
Bayfront Reggae and World Music Festival (Duluth), Icehouse Minneapolis,
Dakota Jazz Club and opened for Nigerian sensations Burna Boy and Wizkid
at the Skyway Theater. Additionally, Carolyne has been featured on TPT (Ch
2) and Kare 11.

Carolyne Naomi released her debut EP, “Miss Naomi” on Friday, November
4th, with a sold-out release concert at Icehouse MPLS same day.
